Green Mountain Knitting Bags

October 8

Greetings! What a week. We had a great time having the boys and their girlfriends over last Friday for dinner. It was a hectic day as Friday I'm usually pretty tired, but had so much to do that I pushed through it. Got the bags out, did a power clean (we all know those) and met up with Taylor to shop for his birthday! A grocery shop... home... put the cake together and was prep cook for Paul who, as always, put together a great meal. By the time we sat to eat, we were tired and ready to relax and enjoy the family. Saturday I usually remove myself from sewing, taking necessary time to unwind in whatever way the day brings, and Paul and I apple picked (pears too) which was great fun, as always. Then I got a call from neighbors who needed someone to be at their home while they picked up family members from the airport. So, I went over at 9:30 that night (book and knitting in hand, assuming the kids would be in bed). Which they weren't! But they're such cute kids (10 & 6) that we did have a good time..... until midnight when their dad came home. Monday I had a dentist appointment that involved valium and well... before I knew it was (is) Thursday!
We've had lots of wind, removing many of leaves, but the color has been gorgeous! These pictures are pretty much my front yard :) (save the pumpkins). And the blanket is two boarder rows of being complete! See it next week in its full glory! What a great fun project!
Tomorrow night we'll be attending the release party for our older son's project he's been doing with his friend, Heather:

A great thing for sure.

Enjoy the color... and the bags! And knit on good women!

Till next week,
Martha.
