March 12
Greetings! Ahhh the snow is melting! My neighbor has started to boil (sap) so have others though sugaring isn't in full swing yet. We still have a lot of snow in the yard (none in town) but we can see a bit of ground and, of course, plenty of mud. Sunny, but very cold today with high winds, some areas of the state will dip below zero tonight. I had a wonderful full moon walk last night, going out at 9:30...in 45 minutes later. Being in bright natural moon light is a very good thing for me. I started a sweater from Fitted Knits last week and am almost finished! A very quick knit. I love the book and plan to do some more of the projects...but like this fitted sweater so much that I found yarn in a pretty slate blue to do it again! The white came from a sale at Northeast Fiber Arts and I love it. It still needs to be blocked, but I'm very pleased with it so far.

My swap package came today!!!! I'm still waiting for something in the mail I ordered for her, but will send mine out ASAP after it arrives. I was going to wait to open it until mine (hers) was sent out but squeee...I couldn't wait! I received a lovely hand quilted quiltlet in the prettiest Spring colors, that of course, is a treasure. Three hanks of the softest alpaca from Vermont! Some vintage buttons (I guess she has my number!) Four fab patterns, the cutest tape measure ever...a sample of SOAK (I've never used it but have always wanted to try it...) and two big hanks of a gorgeous mohair wool blend (had I seen it at a shop I would have made a beeline to it)!! Ahhh! I love it all! Thank you thank you thank you! Like a kid at Christmas I'll look through it over and over again!
I've had email issues since yesterday afternoon, and am not receiving from one of the addresses. So...please contact me from now on at:

Thanks.
As much as I love daylight savings, I haven't been able to switch from my old times...but the longer days are so worth it! Ok all, enjoy tonight's listings...I had fun with every one of them.
Till next week, take good care of yourselves and knit on good women!
Martha.
