July 2,

Greetings! I hope all of you are well. I had a great week, Taylor and Heather's opening of EST was a great success. They did a beautiful job and had a great turnout. Good to see support and appreciation for young people and the arts. Here's a new link to their project, very easy to order a copy!

It's strawberry time here in Vermont, so tomorrow after yoga, my friend Betsy and I are going picking. I haven't made jam in a few years and Woody requested some, so I'll pick a good amount. I found a fruit pectin that doesn't need sugar to thicken, so hopefully it'll work well as I try to take it easy on the sweets. But failed miserably last night when I had a hot fudge sundae at the creamie stand!

I'm a bit behind tonight as I cut into my 'typing time' to complete a couple of Portable Pattern Pockets, so I'll have to cut this short....

But Happy Fourth! We'll be at our little town's parade... big happening here in Hinesburg! Followed by the ever popular used book sale at the town hall. Hopefully a swim in the river... a BBQ, then back down for the fireworks! Needless to say I'll find some time to knit!

Have a great week good women, and knit on!

Martha.
