April 30
Greetings!
Things are really coming to life here in Vermont! Some lovely days, on Tuesday it was 86 degrees at 11:00 am, and 54 degrees at dinner time! I had a great time with my friend getting our pedicures together! So nice to treat ourselves. We're thinking we'll go to the New Hampshire Sheep & Wool Festival on Mother's Day, anyone going to be there? Over the weekend I decided to clean out two closets, and found, tucked away, three of my favorite items I'd knit for my boys when they were little. Shown here is a wool tweed coat I made for Woody. They've been lovingly hand washed, aired to dry, and are tucked safely away until, perhaps they'll be wanted in the years to come... The yoga retreat/class was great, always is. It's become an essential part of my life, I just love it. It's been a good week... fun bags tonight! A hybrid that I'm crazy about, and look for the reversible bag! Still working on the green dress, and started a cotton apron from last summer's issue of Interweave Knits, so far it's a fun knit. If you're wondering what that is in the water, it's frog eggs.... and a water lizard filling itself up. It's that time of year and the peepers have begun their song! Owls and black bear have been hooting like crazy, all is coming to life as the Earth softens under the caress of the sun... and the world is new. Merriment calls good women, so celebrate and knit on! Martha. |
