Green Mountain Knitting Bags

March 27

Greetings! Please forgive our schedule change today, but Allison has a school commitment this evening that conflicts with our regular listing time. She'll get bags posted this afternoon at around 4:30pm EST, and then again around 10:00pm EST. I have no doubt she'll do the best she can to get them as close to those times as possible.

Pretty uneventful this week....still cold and snow. All of us see that fuel truck back up the driveways and we cringe. Next winter we hope to have a wood pellet stove installed....this is getting ridiculous.
I had a great time at Northeast Fiber Arts Saturday Matinee where we watched a fantastic video about felting. A very talented woman created amazing rugs, hats bags etc....all free form. Inspiring for sure, and Jennifer said she's working on setting up a class perhaps this fall with the artist...I'd love it.

See bootie #1 I whipped up for a friend who is pregnant. The pattern came from a Zoë Mellor book, 50 Baby Bootees to Knit. Oh the patterns are adorable! And what fun to knit little things again....been a long time! I made just a few changes....and am knitting them out of fingering weight alpaca.

Take note of the new Madison Demi today! WHAT a fun little bag, but it really does hold more than you'd think. It's stylish and perfect for a have along project and opens so wide and is perfect at your feet, or table top.
Still good snowshoeing in our back woods, I had a great time a few days back.....

Got to run...be good...and knit on good woman!

Martha.
