Green Mountain Knitting Bags

March 20

Greetings! Happy Spring Equinox! Day and night are equal and light will overtake darkness. This is a wonderful time for new beginnings, moving forward, planting and tending to seedlings. A colorful time as well, so look for some brightly colored bags tonight...in celebration of course. And the moon is full, so especially a great time to bring to fruition those things you've been focusing on this cycle. We did start the week with some sun, but as our winter pattern seems set in stone... Tuesday, Wednesday and today were once again stormy...high winds too. Seems winter isn't quite ready to let go.
I had more hours than I'd like to think about in the dentist's chair this week, leaving me a bit drained and tired. But Monday night's yoga class was of great help, and I've got my seeds ready to plant so look forward to that tomorrow. And as the cost of bread goes higher and higher, I once again hace the urge to bake. I used to bake a lot of bread but haven't done so the last few years. I think this weekend I'll make a couple of loaves....baking bread (like knitting) is one of those things that allows our hectic lives to find a more pleasing pace.
I'm excited about my new tote bag style, and hope to offer them regularly. They hold so much but are sleek as the shape is wider than taller...and it opens so nice and wide.
Jennifer of Northeast Fiber Arts sent out her news letter today and is holding a series of what she calls Saturday Matinees! Four Saturday's to join her and fellow knitter's for time to sit, chat and watch some fun videos she has on various types of fiber arts. She'll supply refreshments and it's free! How wonderful. No doubt I'll be there!
Enjoy tonight's bags, I had a great time putting them together and love each and every one.

March in Vermont is for people who don't drink...so they can know what a hangover feels like.

Knit on good women! And be good to yourselves...
Martha.
