March 13
Greetings! Lots of pretty sun today until later this afternoon when it started to cloud over, and eventually start to snow again. But we're all enjoying the lighter days and are still adjusting in the morning! My sister and I had a BLAST! The 'beading with intentions' class was great. There were five of us and it was interesting to see the finished necklaces. See my sister's on her fox! I went for a lot of turquoise (wanted garnet, but the holes were too small) and chose to make it a shorter one. Wendy and I went out on Saturday and I purchased a pair of snowshoes, and soon after the two of us and Paul went into the woods for an excursion! It was a horrible day with lots of freezing rain, but once in the woods it didn't matter much. We were ice coated though when we were through! We did bundle up, and for the record...Wendy doesn't weigh 300 pounds, and I'm not pregnant! But warm is all that matters in the woods in winter! Wendy and I also had a yoga class together. In addition to my Friday morning classes, I'm taking a Monday evening class as well that's focused more on the chakras (root, this time) breathing and how our psychology becomes our physical. It was great, so Wendy got to be a guest and I loved being there with her. So my week's focus was taking a bit of a break and having time with her. Not as many bags, but I did manage a respectable number! See here the inside of a tote I'm offering tonight. I love the shape and how accessible everything is. Inside are 4 skeins of a bulky weight yarn (150 yards per) along with a working skein, my straights and the pattern...yet it remains quite sleek. I'm tired today, and even though it's Thursday...I found myself knitting for a bit on my bed, usually unheard of for a Thursday! But needed, and I'm glad I took the time. Thanks all for the rave reviews you continue to send in, always good to hear from you all. Be good, take time...and knit on good women! Martha.
