February 28

Greetings!

The 28? I don't even know the date, that's how my Thursdays are. I do know the next time I write up a News Page it will be March, making us all that much closer to Spring! We had another storm and have hit new snow fall records. Beautiful and sunny today, but bitterly cold. I tried to (and did) take some pictures outside, but struggled with my snow pants on, snow up to my thighs and honestly didn't have the patience for the freezing cold. I have another new camera as my last one was stolen from my car...yup, even in Vermont. So I didn't get a chance to play with it before tonight...read my descriptions for accurate accounts of the colors.
Had fun at the yarn sale on Saturday, who wouldn't, and picked up two skeins of a cotton, linen silk blend (350 yards per hank) and enough Cleckheaton Country Silk for a sweater...at $3.00 a skein it was hard to resist...pretty brown too!

Two bags tonight are all about the lining, have fun looking! I have to share with you all a picture my sister sent me from her cabin in Maine (inside looking out). She titled the photo 'discouraging'...but I have to laugh. We're all in it together! The other outside shots are from my upstairs window. Got to cut this short, I'm running late and Allison is waiting patiently.

Be good, stay warm & knit on!

Martha.
