April 10
Greetings! Finally the snow is completely off our back deck! Which means grilling has begun. I also sat out and did a bit of hand sewing, but even though it's sunny today and around 55, I don't feel very well and quickly chilled! Sugaring is still going on and it looks like Vermont will have another great yield. Last week I linked you all to Mara's email address instead of her web site, but Allison changed it mid week. I'll leave it here for another week, find it to on the Links Page. http://www.latherlysoaps.com/ I finished two pair of booties for the baby shower. They were so much fun to make and so much fun to give to her. Sunday Woody and I took a drive to Waterbury to one of our favorite antique shops and I was lucky to find 34 fabulous vintage buttons, see some tonight! Honestly I had a draining week and actually feel like taking a nap, something I never do. So, let me type away then I'm off to lay down until 8:30. I hope to feel better fro yoga in the morning, especially since I missed on Monday. The geese are nesting and we love hearing them again. Still snow in the yard, but the driveway is clear and mud season has officially begun! HONK IF YOU LOVE GEESE. Till next time...knit on, good hardworking women! Martha. |
