October 4th
Greetings! Still warm here and we're loving it! Very pretty color, lots of yellow and raspberry. As you can tell in a few of tonight's pictures, we lose the sun here on the hill by 5:00 in the afternoon...which shortens my picture taking time substantially. It's fine really, as the flash does show the colors well.
My older son turned 21 yesterday, so after his classes we spent the afternoon & evening together. Went shopping, met up with my husband and older son and had a lovely time sitting together on Church Street.
I finished up my Lace Leaf Shawl and love it! That was another afternoon not sewing! But I knew I was close and really wanted it done. I beaded the ends, and on 5 of them used turquoise...the remaining beads are a bit lighter. Wonderful pattern, really fun.
Lot's to type and I'm running late...but want to remind you all that the BeadforLife beads will be attached to all bags sent out this month. Look for the card in the pockets inside each bag. Shown tonight are two more three strand bracelets I purchased. The colors are wonderful together and the bracelets are so light and comfortable to wear.
Gorgeous nostepinner tonight! Oh...see the photo of the red heavy weight yarn I wrapped. May I say...it's my best yet.
Knit on good women!!!
Martha.
