Shopping cart update:

The new shopping cart was a great success and worked beautifully! Here's what we've found out. After you log in, you have 24 minutes before your time expires. So either look first and then log in, or be aware of the time. If you're choosing to pay via paypal and are having trouble with your paypal account (which aren't related to my site) and you really want a particular bag, just go ahead and purchase it by clicking on the money order option of payment. Then email me saying you'd rather pay via paypal, and I can send along an invoice. I'm thrilled to have it all in place!!

Greetings. I hope everyone had a safe relaxing Thanksgiving! No guesses as to what most of us are having for dinner tonight....

Between the holiday and getting my mom ready for her upcoming surgery this Thursday, I didn't have as much time in my studio...but six pretty bags none the less!

So mom has her lumpectomy on Thursday, but I'll be sending Allison all needed bag information that morning, so the listings will as right on track. I won't however be available for questions throughout the day...you're on your own gals! Good luck, and have fun.

Spent Thanksgiving with my mom, husband, our two boys and good friends Annie & Steve...yes, that's Annie of Annie's Sock Bag! We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful needed sunshine this week, rare and welcomed as November is the cloudiest month of all.
I've been getting out and walking daily, makes a big difference for me. Haven't had (made) the time for Curves, and might just make my daily walks it.

Thanks to you all for your kind words and support about my mom...positive thoughts are important & welcomed! She's a trooper, and even at 80, we feel all will be well and hope this is just a bump in her road.
Had a thoughtful customer send along a fun pattern for wristlet's, and I picked up some pretty yarn made by Plymouth called Baby Alpaca Brush to make them up soon. Nice color too...plum (what a surprise).
I'm happy to say I didn't leave the house at all yesterday! If you were one of those early rising shoppers, I hope you had fun! I slept in.

I was thrilled to find this pretty pin cushion on eBay. The seller's ID is lkaye67, and her work is beautiful. She uses top quality calico fabric and stitches them all by hand. She doesn't have any up now, but should again soon. I was amazed at how big and tick it is, and how the fabrics run along the sides and the bottom (or top...flips) has the pretty button too! Can't say enough about her very pretty work. Keep an eye open....I'll have a link when she has more available!
