November 16

Greetings! Busy week with listings, custom work and, oh right, paying the property tax. Always fun at the town hall so see folks you normally don't see. Not that we love paying our taxes, but good to see townspeople. Because our taxes went up, we think including winter plowing would be a grand idea! Missy, our town clerk, did not agree.

My mom received some scary news this week...let's just say it brought me in for a much overdue mammogram. She's strong and we all feel the outcome will be good...but thanks to all who sent along their words of wisdom, concern and support.

We haven't seen the sun in days.....and I can't believe how warm it's been, I actually wore my flip flops on a walk yesterday. I put in another handle order with Randy, and he informed me he might just be out of Butternut. So the next batch of handles may be anything from mahogany or maple. Stay turned. Well I never did get to the eBay bag, I did however buy a nice old handbag! Fantastic old wool needlepoint handbag, love it. I do though plan to list one soon.

Because a week from today is Thanksgiving, I don't know when we'll be listing bags, but we will. I guess I'll just say that the time will be a surprise?? It won't be Thanksgiving day, but probably over the weekend sometime. We'll pick up right on schedule two weeks from today.

We're all here for the holiday, so blessings to all & safe travels!!

Till next time,
Martha.
