November 12

Greetings. We were able to celebrate with both of our mother's on their early November birthdays. Out to dinner with mine, and lobsters in with my mother-in-law. Nice times for sure...we had a nice long walk with my mom, my sister, younger son and husband. Lots of gray, fog and rain and temperatures unseasonably warm.
My dad graduated from Springfield College (Massachusetts) class of 1950, and played football there. He then coached here in Vermont at UVM, and returned back to work at Springfield College in development during the 1970's. Over the weekend Springfield College played here at Norwich, and my husband went to the game and took some great shots. Springfield easily won the game...even though we're Vermonter's...we always root for Springfield!
Allison is home for the weekend working on the new shopping cart, thanks Al! I'm so excited to get it in place. Custom orders continue to pour in...seems lots of gals saw my bags at 'Stitches'. One of these years I'll make it there, but for now there's just too much going on.
As many of you know, I started selling my bags on eBay four or so years ago, but ever since the web site was born, I've sold them strictly from here. But because the bags are in such demand, and the wait for a custom bag is so long...I thought it would be FUN to offer one on eBay. I have a large Carpet Bag going on within the next couple of days. Check back here to be able to link right to it! I'll start it low, and high bidder gets it! Have fun...

Still working on ...S&P mittens, Leaf Lace Shawl, sister's shrug & sweater for me.

But for now, I'm off to sew.

Till next time,
Martha.
