Busy busy…

Bags (4) will be a bit late, Christopher’s computer is doing an update and isn’t done yet! Thanks so much for your patience…. we’re doing our best!

Greetings!

It was a hectic week….. one of our beloved cats was missing for a week and to our delight… came home! Limping and bleeding, he came home at 2:50 am a few nights ago. He had surgery to repair his fractured leg and is recovering well, I’m home with him today.

Then I received word that my former mother-in-law passed away this week, so I’ll be attending the funeral on Thursday.

We finally have a break from the heat! Ug… the humidity was oppressive and the relief is welcome.

Woody and Maddy have just another week and a half left! I think they’re beyond ready! What a ride!

My sister is coming from Maine on Friday. It’s been awhile since she’s seen our mom so we hope for a nice visit…. and some fun sister time!

My big project was ready (enough) to start to piece together But…. too much black around certain areas and for the life of me,  couldn’t get the corners to look the way I want. I tend to be so picky when it comes to crochet seaming, so after hours of fiddling with different options, I started completely over! I’ll save what I’ve done for a killer pillow, and for now am forging ahead working my favorite ‘join as you go’ method.
It was a good decision with stronger construction and I’m excited.

Any of you doing a Ravellenic Game’s Project? I’ve joined Team Sasquatch  (a group of us who love listening to knitting podcasts) and am singing up really more for the incentive than to actually finish… but I love following people’s projects and feel this will be a great boost! Not sure what my actual goal will be, maybe 1/2? We’ll see…..

Allison and I did some site work over the hone last night… remember the amazing Allison? :)  The Styles Page has been updated and well as some other pages. Allison is well and loves her job… thanks Allison!

Off to check on my kitty……. be good, take good care and knit on good women!

Warmly,
Martha.
