The big news this week is the opening of Green Mountain Knitting Bags new venue which can be found here:
For those of you not on my email list, this is what was sent out:
For a long time now I’ve been thinking about an additional venue for the bags where everyone has an equal chance….. and time…. to view the bags. Big Cartel is that new venue and one of their features allows you to place an item in your cart, where it’s safe, for 30 minutes. If the purchase isn’t completed, it’s listed again. Great feature! So, in addition to the Thursday listings…. I’ll be listing a bag or two a week at various times. Please book mark it! The technical (listings) on my site I’m not able to do, so it’s fun for me to be able to pop one on myself here……. My hope is that this will fill a void and create an enjoyable experience…. thanks all for the continued support!
It’s so much fun for me to make a bag and upload it whenever! Great fun……
The big project is coming along. I counted the days to the wedding, counted what I’ve done, how long each ‘section’ takes and exactly what it is I have to do to get it done…. which is about an hour a day, give or take. OOOOOkkkkayyyyy. I’ll have to get right on it…
I had back to back yoga classes this week, and I felt it. Our bodies change so often that ‘one does yoga with the body they show up with’. Always different….. and always beneficial, if one can get out of the judgement phase….
We continue to love our new space and can’t get enough of the view… cats love it too! ‘Tiger’ our male cat, loves eating plants so Christopher picked up a catnip plant for him….. needless to say he loved it!
The strawberries are in season but I’ve yet to find the time…. can’t miss them though, they’re a favorite berry.
If you enjoy listening to knitting podcasts, I recommend ‘Jane and Jen Knit Funny’, two good friends chatting back and forth, with great humor, about their knitting, what’s not to love?
Woody and Maddy are in Kansas! They had their first 100 mile day and are doing pretty well….
Back to work for me…. stay cool (good grief it;s hot!) and knit on good women!
(Later Wednesday afternoon) I have to add….. I received a call from Smitty (sewing machine repairman) who told me my older Bernina was all set, so I drove to pick her up. His shop is at a busy 5 corner intersection and the head was oppressive. I got home and quickly showered but it’s just an hour later and the heat is draining once more. All I can think of is…… remember that Twilight Zone where the Earth was slowly moving toward the sun? It became increasingly hotter until at the end the painting on the wall started to melt? That’s how hot it feels to me, NOT my favorite weather. Stay cool good women……
