It doesn’t take long to go from the above to….
That said it continues to be cool, even some snow is forecasted….. but it feels natural now to have the later light and the dark afternoons of winter are fading away. I hope you all enjoyed the holiday weekend and how nice it is to welcome in April! We saw the young folks yesterday and enjoyed a laid back afternoon with knitting and eggplant parmesan for dinner.
I met a friend for coffee this morning, came home and have been happily busy in the kitchen with wash on the line.
Bread above is now in the oven….
Granola is cooling….
… and the black raspberry (the last from the freezer) custard was yummy, we had it while warm….
And I finished yet another berry hat, this one for a friend’s granddaughter, little Margaret xo
I used Plymouth Dreambaby dk and it knit up just fine. Hopefully she’ll wear it before summer 😀 …. and hopefully it’ll fit in the fall!
I continue to settle in and doing bags the last couple of weeks has felt great. My thumb is much better so yay on that. Knit group tomorrow, I hope, and I think I’ll toss my mat down now and do some yoga ….
Enjoy all that Spring has to offer, remember to breath deeply, take good care, to knit on…. (!) and to be tender with the ones you love xo
